Fried Potatoes Recipe: Plain or With Cheddar

One of Switzerland’s most famous dishes, the recipe for rue potato is a great accompaniment. This very practical recipe, which will go well with meat or fish, appeals to adults as well as young people and children.

Materials

  • 3 potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • 4-5 slices of fresh cheddar (optional)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Potato Ruffle Recipe

1. Peel the potatoes, add enough water to boil them.

2. Put the pot on the stove and when the water boils, take the potatoes out of the water and leave them for 5-10 minutes to warm up.

3. After the potatoes are warm, grate coarsely.

4. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the grated potatoes. Blend the potatoes with the spices without crushing them.

5. If you are going to make it with cheese, put half of the butter in the pan and when the butter melts, press half of the potato grater into the pan. Then place the cheeses and press the remaining grater in the same way.

6. Cook on low heat until the underside of the potatoes is browned.

7. To fry the top of the potato, turn it over with the help of a plate.

8. Melt the rest of the butter in the pan and fry the uncooked side of the potato in the pan.

9. Serve when the side you turned is browned.
